10 Year Anniversary Voting
On the occasion of the 10th anniversary HangSúly™ Hungarian Metal Awards a public voting was arranged to choose fan favourites from the awarded albums and bands from the first 10 years. Based on the public votes the most popular album is the winner of 2005 Harc!, the classic thrash metal full-length by REMORSE, and the best live band of the decade is the sludge metal group APEY AND THE PEA.
More than a thousand people sent their votes and not just from Hungary but from the United States, Israel, and all around Europe from Norway to Italy and from Russia to the United Kingdom, 19 countries in all. 682 fans voted for the best album, and 453 voted for the best live band.
